广西机械工业研究院有限责任公司成立于1964年，现为广西铁路投资集团全资子公司。公司的发展战略是“以特种智能机器人和3D打印技术研发应用为基础，以打造军民融合科技创新合作平台为支撑,以争做卓尔不群智能制造一流企业为目标”。

Guangxi Research Institute of Mechanical Industry Co., Ltd（GRIMI）was founded in 1964. Now GRIMI is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangxi Communications Investment Group Co., Ltd. GRIMI's development strategy is“bases on the research and development of special intelligent robots and 3D printing technology, aims to build a platform for cooperation between military and civilian integration technology innovation, and strives to be the first-class intelligent manufacturing enterprise”.

公司具有强劲的产品研发、创新及工程化能力。近十年来公司出色完成国家863计划，国家科技攻关项目及省部级重点研发项目100多项，获授权专利50多项，获各类科技进步奖励十多项，研发成功具有世界领先水平的高压清洗机器人和套装式内外袋全自动包装机器人。

GRIMI has the strong capabilities of new products development, innovation and engineering. In this decade, GRIMI has completed more than 100 national

and provincial level development projects, including National High-tech R&D Program of China (863 program), National Key Technologies R&D Program of China and provincial key R&D program. GRIMI has received more than 50 patents and more than 10 different science and technology progress award. GRIMI also has successfully developed the high pressure cleaning robot and automatic production line of packing and palletizing, which have reached the leading level of the world.
